Hi, I'm Heather - the hands behind Balsam Ridge Traditions.
What started with learning to care for my own home and family grew into a love for the herbs, remedies, and old-fashioned skills that have been part of Appalachian homes for generations.
I make each Balsam Ridge product in small batches here in the mountains of Western North Carolina, blending traditional knowledge with continued study and a whole lot of hands-on making.
